We entered the studio today with a 4-hour block to record bass on 5 tunes. Even with some technical difficulties (thanks, Pro Tools: neither “Pro” nor “Tools”… discuss amongst yourselves) Craig was able to knock them all out of the park.

Over the next few weeks, Salient will be making several appearances around Nashville, to stay local while we are busy recording the next project. Even though it’s been a little quiet around here, we’ve been busy writing and tweaking and demoing new material for our most ambitous project yet. Today we finally started putting our ideas to tape.
